Saturday, July 9 we had our soft opening at the 1st Annual CMN Car Show hosted at Shelby (#1034) WalMart. Proceeds from the event went to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
We sold over 200 donuts and all tips (electronic and cash) were donate to Children's Miracle Network. A total of 20 transactions and 38 donut trays were sold. That's 114 donuts in under 4 hours!
Since it was a dry run, we expected some small issues to occur. It took us a while to get power going and it wasn't until 12 that we were able to start churning donuts! Nevertheless we had fun for our first event and first day up and running!
Friends and family came out to support and we are eternally grateful for them!
